What to Expect During Your Initial Dental Appointment
At West Road Family Dental Care our goal is to provide our patients with comprehensive and personalized dental care services in a stress-free setting and at an affordable price. Regular oral exams and dental X-rays are critical factors in retaining an attractive smile and avoiding dental emergencies.
We are currently accepting new patients and present the following information so that you will know what to expect at your initial appointment.
During your first visit to our family practice, we will conduct a thorough medical and dental history, perform a comprehensive oral evaluation, and provide a personal consultation with our professional dentists. At this time we will also take X-rays as a part of your examination. We view your first visit as a chance for us to get to know each other and address any concerns you might have. After the examination is complete we will discuss our findings with you and recommend any needed treatments. We encourage you to ask questions and you will always have the final say in your treatment.
Prior to beginning any treatment we will sit down with you and advise you of your options so you can make an informed choice regarding the best course of treatment to address your specific needs.
If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card along to your first appointment. If a card is not available, please ensure that you have available all of your insurance information, such as provider name, address, subscriber ID number, etc.
